Since I know the answer, I can only assume you're alluding to me here.
I can't recall ever sharing your private information with anyone, so you must have made mention of your prolific birthing practices somewhere on this board at a time in the past. After all, you do post some very personal information on this very public board. Not to mention that life v. choice is a topic we have discussed many times.
Sorry to disappoint, but I don't believe the information came from me. However, since I can see how much this has brightened your day, I'm happy to take credit for it.
btw, congratulations on the pregnancy. Good luck with it. I could live without the pro life website ads, though.

Indeed. It wouldn't have come from you. I am woman hear me roar announced her prior pregnancies and surrogate status a very long time ago. Anyway this thread is dripping with a bucket full of self inflicted hormonal imbalance. Her audience just got one snicker smaller.

whatever. obviously, i could explain till i am blue in the face and it would not make a difference to most of the people here.....they have their preconceived ideas in place and arent open to being wrong...typical of most of society and shouldnt be a surprise but i was.... i guess because i traditionally have found that the more intelligent people are, the more they are open to the fact they may not be right, they are aware their perceptions sometimes may be incorrect, or for me, i am always interested to see peoples different take on things...and swirl them around and see another side......jeez.. i seem to have much more open minded, debatable social issue type discussions with my 91 y/o grandma who only went to 6th grade than some of the stuff i have seen here lately....

Sorry "we" don't reach your minimal intelligence requirement threshold. You're a saint to have put up with us as long as you have, there's no denying that.

I am almost certain I am the only one here that falls on the side that has trouble with some abortions. I also am certain it has nothing to do with views on issues. It's personal don't you think? I had seen that sig line a good while and, only after sides were being taken did Owl ask for it to be removed. Even if she replaced her old one with new ones just to get Owl, I say every one has a pissy moment but, are they worth choosing and, taking sides?

This is not an issue of allowing/disallowing diverse thought, nor about my personally being offended by something. It was about spam. The pointedly provocative "you ain't the boss of me" bumper sticker and the "talking" embryo thing (a favorite tool of the anti-choice advocates) were immaterial. Had the link carried one to a pro-choice site, it would have made no difference to me as far as administrative actions.

I'm surprised / shocked here to know you had no prior knowledge of the site your "siggy" came from. Or just where the siggy is linked. I'm a wee bit let down that it is not a supported site of yours. And, think how worse this all could have been had it came from a site that would have offended those staunchly pro choice. Cat also made the point about how many pc's she has cleaned up from frivilious users. Maybe you can look at it that way and understand those here protecting do have a valid point. its been a consistent pattern and yes maturity would be welcome and far less disruptive for everyone else.

i havent even reaad your whole post and i had to respond. the reason i posted about it getting the emails fired up was because i figured it would start something because I AM PREGNANT...not for any other reason. and box dog did not disappoint. it had nothing what so ever to do with trying to piss off owl as i have already stated.....nice spin there....yet another one who asks if i meant something one way, and when i explain, still believes what she wants.....sometimes i wish i was a devious, and mean and nasty as you all seem to think cause then at least i would be gulity of what i was accused...... my countdown ticker was neither mean nor nefarious, nor was it meant to send any type of message to anyone...it was simply the same ticker i have in my siggy on other boards i am on......and as i said before, think what you all want...you will anyway....ok, off to read the second part of your post.

nobody is taking sides and i welcome opposing points of view on any topic. really its not that. ive stated why ive found these kinds of antics to be offensive. thats my take on it and as a member of this board i find the disruptions caused by this behavior to be intrusive and juvenile. and yanno ive gone out of my way to be inclusive and not take sides and its pissing me off. there are certain behaviors that i find obnoxious and those are these kind of manipulative, passive aggressive poking at others and then denying it things. and thats the end of the topic as far as im concerned theres been more than enough attention to it.

You're correct, I did assume it was one of those sites. That was the basis for my statement. I don't visit sites I don't know or trust. Just a habit of years of fighting viruses and malware on clients' machines.

Either way, I could still live without the ad. There are enough ads I have to wade through during my daily Internet experience. As a matter of fact, there's one at the top of this page.

i cant answer for cat here gator but i can tell you why i found it objectionable. owl asked mt in a post to remove the hyper link for the advertisement at the bottom of her sig line.
it appeared that mts response to that simple administrative request was the sarcastic comment in the box along with the growing fetus banner.

owl has spoken many times on this board about her pro choice stance and it seems clear that these postings on mts sig line were very odd and angry responses to a very innocuous request to remove the ad link. however if shes preggers and its all innocent then my apologies for being so cynical! so, whens the baby due?

for the record...i am totally pro-choice, as i have made very clear in the abortion discussions on this board...and other boards to which i belong. NO ONE EVER has the right to tell any woman what to do with their body EVER. period. i have known women who have had abortions and clearly it was the best decision for them at that time in thier lives. no one ever need to judge that. others do not walk in their shoes and cannot make a decision for that woman that will affect the rest of her life...only that woman can do that for herself.

i think it is idiotic that i even have to explain the countdown ticker thing. it is a COUNTDOWN TICKER! how difficult is that to understand????? yes, i am 10 weeks 6 days pregnant and the ticker shows how many days are left till the approximate birth. for women who generally are pretty intelligent, it is ridiculous that this is something you dont seem to comprehend!?!??

i know nothing about any pro life site.....as far as i know, if you click on the ticker it takes you to the site to get your own ticker. plus that are tons of sites to get a ticker for whatever you want...how many days till you take a trip, till your anniversary, till a birthday, till you graduate, pounds lost while losing weight....omg. you people are so frustrating.

box dog has been riding my ass for some time now and i have been nothing but amicable. even when i was frustrated, i never attacked her. i did point out when she was wrong, and how she always seems to think she is right. i get that part of all of this is probably to try to get me to leave this board and has been going on for some time, but i dont think that i have done anything wrong. i think i have good ideas, thoughts and perspectives to add to the discussions and when i dont, i say nothing. i have never met box dog/terri in life, but i know that she and cata have and are friends....perhaps it is because cat has just moved like 3 blocks from me that she is all wierded out about me still being here...IDK...all i know is that i have no done anything to her. i have not attacked her, or box dog...and this is really ridiculous. for the record, yes. i love cat....always will. period. i dont want to hurt her, i dont want to argue with her, she is special, incredible, beautiful, and i treasure every moment i ever had with her and while i do wish we were still together, we are not. period. i really wish all this would just stop.

i cant answer for cat here gator but i can tell you why i found it objectionable. owl asked mt in a post to remove the hyper link for the advertisement at the bottom of her sig line.
it appeared that mts response to that simple administrative request was the sarcastic comment in the box along with the growing fetus banner. owl has spoken many times on this board about her pro choice stance and it seems clear that these postings on mts sig line were very odd and angry responses to a very innocuous request to remove the ad link. however if shes preggers and its all innocent then my apologies for being so cynical! so, whens the baby due?

TAMPA Preliminary autopsy results for TV pitchman Billy Mays suggest he died of heart failure, the Medical Examiner said today.

The autopsy done this morning reveals no evidence of head trauma or drug abuse, said Medical Examiner Vern Adams. There had been speculation that Mays might have been injured during a hard landing at Tampa International Airport Saturday.

The autopsy showed he had hardening of the arteries, Adams said. He was taking pain medication after two recent hip surgeries, but there is no evidence that contributed to his death, Adams said.

A full autopsy will be completed within eight to 10 weeks.

The Hillsborough County Medical Examiner at a news conference.

Mays, famous for selling cleaning products on infomercials, didn't wake up Sunday morning and was pronounced dead about 7:45 a.m. No foul play is suspected, police said.

Mays, 50, told his family he didn't feel good Saturday and went to sleep early, about 10 p.m., police said. He had just returned from a trip to Philadelphia to shoot an Oxyclean commercial and was on the plane that had a hard landing at Tampa International Airport when a tire blew out.

Mays told WTVT-Ch.13 Saturday that something hit his head during the landing, but no injuries were reported to airport officials.

Before this unnecessarily spirals any further let me jump in. I believe you, MT and myself all made reference to the seatbelt, the hit to the noggin and alluded to core responsibility for restraint. That said. I don't think anyone misconstrued or formed speculation based on your input. The discussion of sort between MT and myself was one to clarify specifically "what and to whom" Billy tweeted, or verbally discussed with a local Fox station after disembarking. So, all in all, it seems you just commented on the stuff falling from above, MT mistakenly believed it was his "tweet" that referred to the noggin bump when it was his interview with Fox. And I just sort of laid down the gauntlet, via his own documented tweet and also what he said to Fox. If there were any culpability, negligence on the part of the airline for the bumpy landing and his noggin joggin it would seem he didn't have a huge concern for it since it was not at all part of any tweet that evening. I dunno here, but with this one I think we're all squared away and cool.

this sounds to me like natasha richardsons skiing accident. they hit their heads and seem ok and then die hours later. people can and do become seriously injured by objects falling out of the overhead bin. most airlines allow up to 40lbs in the carry on and that can be 40 lbs of canned goods depending on the market:) from the description it sounds more like he hit his head on the overhead bin or the ceiling. that happens a lot during turbulence when people arent strapped in and if this plane hit with the tires popped there was prolly some bouncing that would be similar to turbulence. of course it might not be related but it does seem very coincidental.

i agree with cat re: the seat belt not protecting his head...its all about keeping one in their seat.

and as far as whether he was wearing a seat belt...

i looked up the FAA regulations and in section 91.107 it states that every passenger must occupy a seat with a seat belt properly secured about him or her during movement on the ground, take off and landing.

therefore, if he was not wearing a seat belt than the flight attendents on that flight were breaking FAA regulations and have admitted such to the media.

i would hope that the airline would have asked if anyone needed medical assistance...however, i can easily see how many people would have just blown it off...in mays' case, he basically joked about getting hit on the head and having a hard head on twitter. so even if EMS care was offered, no one is bound or required to accept it. he probably just wanted to get home....

i agree that it will be interesting to see what the autopsy shows. could be something as simple as a brain aneurysm, heart attack in his sleep, who knows, that had nothing what so ever to do with the hit on the head...

The FAA is already deflecting blame for the death of Billy Mays -- claiming the legendary TV pitchman wasn't wearing a seat belt when he took a shot to the head during a rough landing on a flight he was on yesterday.

Here's what we know -- Billy Mays was aboard US Airways Flight 1241 flying from Philadelphia, which landed roughly when the front tire blew out as it touched down. After the flight, Billy told FOX 13 in Tampa that something struck him in the head -- here's Billy's actual quote:

"All of a sudden as we hit you know it was just the hardest hit, all the things from the ceiling started dropping. It hit me on the head, but I got a hard head."

His wife,Deborah Mays, found him at their home Sunday morning, theAssociated Pressreported. Tampa police said there were no signs of a break in or foul play.

An autopsy will be done by Monday afternoon to determine the cause of death.

"Although Billy lived a public life, we don't anticipate making any public statements over the next couple of days," Deborah Mays said in a statement. "Our family asks that you respect our privacy during these difficult times."

Mays, who got his start peddling products to passersby on theAtlantic City Boardwalk, has pluggedMighty Putty, theDing Kingdent repair kit, and, most recently, the website ESPN360.com

"With every product you see me on TV with, I've turned down 100, 150 more," Mays told the News earlier this month, while inNew Yorkfor a look alike contest. "I've been on TV for 11 years, and all I have is my good name."

"I compare myself to a big-league slugger, a quarterback, the doctor who delivers the baby," he said. "I'm not an inventor, but I'll take your product to the next level."
