lol ... when you bubble ?? I love the sound of that although I'm not sure what it means. s'plain please ....

Yeah .. I have a few going at a time too .. but my other one right now is a Wayne Dyer - the power of intention .. (jury is still out)

I'll have to give sue grafton and sea of poppies a look .. thanks.

omg ... I feel like an idiot (looking to see if there's an idiot emoticon - thankfully I don't see one)

I get it now. In my defense .. I don't bubble, I jet, using bath salts, since bubbles and jets do not mix.

I would add a picture of my jets but it seems beyond my posting abilities at present ...lol..

so .. what's the best way to attach a photo anyways ???

at the bottom outside of your reply box, the one that you are typing into when you respond to a post, there is an attach image box. check that. another box appears under it and click on the browse option, select the pix that you want to show, chick on open then at the bottom of that box click on upload image. the screen changes a whirling thing happens then it says image uploaded select another which isnt necessary unless you want to post multiple images. if not hit submit post and there ya go!

I guess I didn't get it. I pictured Psych isolating herself like the bubble boy she posted about and, until now it being a bath did not register. . lol Are your jets inside? Gator

one can jet with salts as the jets make bubbles! its all about the experience! if one has no jets any bubble product or bath salt will do. i prefer the dead sea salts tho its unlikely that they really come from the dead sea since i would have single handedly removed all such salts from this sea eons ago given the number of bottles of this stuff i go thru. the bath experience involves candles, music and warm water and a good book, reading light is a must. it used to include a glass of wine but now its a cup of sleepy time tea. one problem with this is that im often overtired and fall asleep in said bubbles until the water gets cold which wakes me up. ive had many books become flotillas doing this which is why i restrict the bubble reading material to dime store novels.

To be able to bubble does sound lovely. With work and, most of the week I have to closely go through 300 or more documents (most complex) daily and, aside from reading the newspaper and, taking note of all the reading suggestions here, that is about it for me. I know I am missing out ............on a lot but, the eyes refuse and, the weekends call me outside. Gator

The author rejects this theory, and counters with (among other things) "... if women are coy by nature, why are they equipped with a capacity to have more orgasms than any single man can provide?"

..

and does the author have a theory on why this is? lol

I think it had to do with lesbian recruitment quotas, but don't quote me on that.

 wink

I think it may have to do with reading glasses. In my leisure, I don't much like wearing them at all.

this is an issue for me too. i need stronger glasses as daylight fades. i picked up a few ott lights for reading tho and that makes a world of difference.

I just finished "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett. Was a pretty enjoyable read although I found myself stressed for the characters at times .. but I guess that's what a well written story will do to ya ...

Now I'm left looking for the next book ... sooooo, besides this message board, what are you reading ??

cry Here's where I always get the failing grade.

Truth is, I'm just not all that keen on reading fiction. (Although I HAVE seen some pretty entertaining stuff on message boards from time to time... ) wink Don't know why, really -- was mad for it when I was a kid... the last words I usually said every night were "Just let me finish this chapter!"

I think it may have to do with reading glasses. In my leisure, I don't much like wearing them at all. I just don't know. I like biographies, but don't have any around here right now. At present I'm sort of working my way through "Our Kind" which is an examination of what it is to be human. :) (Author is an anthropologist.) Its the kind of thing you pick up to read, and start nodding off, and then, the next night you find yourself reading the same section over again, because you can't remember anything you read the night before. :) It's pretty dated stuff, anyway (pub in 1989)... the section I'm reading right now is discussing why men need to seduce women all the time, and he (the author) quotes E. O. Wilson: "It pays males to be aggressive, hasty, fickle, and indiscriminating. In theory it is more profitable for females to be coy and to identify the male with the best genes--who are more likely to stay with them after insemination. Human beings obey this biological principle faithfully."

The author rejects this theory, and counters with (among other things) "... if women are coy by nature, why are they equipped with a capacity to have more orgasms than any single man can provide?"

... it's dry stuff, but not all that dry. :)

Wish I could be of more help.
