Been on vacation. A local one. My winter solstice. Any vacation is a good one. Unless it involves Montezumas revenge, getting thrown over the side of a cruise ship, or leaping over the side of ones own drunken notion after a bad night on the slot machines. Other than that I may drop you a line about the IPod, I just don't think I like that ITunes thing as the mandatory library. I don't see the simple words "SYNC TO DEVICE". And of course, I want to get my WMP library converted to Apple talk so I can hear what I already worked so hard to build. I am NOT going to pay the 99 cents per tune to rebuild it from their nazi tune files. I think they're looking like a monopoly to me. Really, or a cult.

How's the wife and kids? relax.gif

And Clarisse...

Small note and a few pics to check-in and show a hello!

Thanks!!!!! so much for the heads up on the concert next week! I emailed my sisters in NY and Daytona, we're all going to go. It's at a perfect venue for her, a very intimate, historic playhouse. It's going to be very good.

enjoy! i will sit here being jealous of your good fortune!

Btw, Psych, thanks for your techno-input too....nice try. I bought the Apple ITouch anyway, DNA, fingerprints, germs be damned I HAD to have this thing. 16 is all sold out in the area so I went 8, OMG, it's so very sweet. It only ended up costing me $19.56 yesterday, thanks two returns and a gift card. That made me crazy happy. :)

lol well heck if it makes you happy then you must have it! thats the rule when youre over 21!

I know it's not about the stuff, but....

Well,

I need more bait, and not the kind we're used to hearing about ;)

Greetings From IRB!

i love the photo of the two adirondack chairs. there is a narrative to that photo. and didja eat the fish? btw i saw this link in a mag and thought id share. www.photowow.com  you can take your photos and do neat things with them!

Thanks for the link! I would have liked to turn that catfish (can't eat sal****er cats) into a black grouper or red snapper, but. It's catch and release all the same so it's just as well. It just would have really hurt to release good eats.

Well, hell. Seems Best Buy replenished the 16 gb "I-RADIO" ;) so...I traded up. Might as well get that out of the way now and move forward with a real resolution. The one about curbing my spending and "gottahaves" is a lost cause.

The concert isn't till February 4th. I think my Mom wants to go too. And really, that's swell. It's just that I've been to TARGET wink.gif with her and she approaches Target, lesbians in general and potential dinner dates in a very different manner than I do. Which makes perfect sense, since she goes to Target to  actually SHOP, already has a lesbian in her life and has a standing dinner date with Dad. So...what had potential for a folksy hook-up has turned into a family outing. Not that kind of family, the other kind of family.

Which brings me to my most important, maybe only "New Year" resolution. I will continue to NOT be someones "curious" in their bi-curious adventure. Except for that young woman yesterday, at Subway. I mean what were the odds? We're practically dressed alike carrying the same gadget. Strike up a conversation about it the whole time this dude is not liking this one bit and he's screaming at her "LETS GO!" I asked her right in front of him if they were really together. And then she said it, for now baby, just for now. I melted a little.

I practically ran home. I should probably find a new Subway. bye.gif

I always love your pictures, BD.  I really like the upside down one.  Posting it upside down kind of gives it a surreal effect.  It is upside down, right?

I'm just getting up, so what concert are you talking about?  I'll probably find out when I read the other threads.
