i didnt watch the video. they showed portions of it on tv tho none where she is in the picture. there is an investigation going on surrounding these incidents. i wouldnt go to one of those sites to look, that would be exploitive. if there was no market for this there would be fewer reasons to try it.
Just like whom ever shot the video did. I'm surprised you have leaned toward the victimization side. Even TMZ showed restraint and, see it as an invasion of her privicy. oh i do see it as an objectification and i do see it as exploitive and abusive. my big concern here is that it isnt as it seems and if thats the case it hurts all women. i think that someone she knows is responsible for what happened and its someone who has access to her schedule and itineraries. that would, i think, narrow the list of possible suspects to a few. if its her manager for instance that would be exploitive for sure and a disregard for the position that shes worked hard to achieve but it wouldnt be the first time that someone close to a beautiful woman took that route to "promote" (for lack of a better word) her. look at all the sex tapes that show up on the net with these young starlets. the release of the tapes gets them in the media spotlight and for some, like paris hilton, it launches a career. very few people knew erin andrews before this incident, now, for a few moments at least, shes a household name. it sucks that people do these things, but they do and im really hopeful thats not the case here tho if its not then the situation might even be worse. the only other scenario that fits the facts of this is that she may have a stalker. if thats the case then identifying that individual and arresting him/her should be fairly easy. most hotels have security cameras in the hallway and so someone breaking into the room next door or someone who is legitimately in the room next door should be easily identifiable. if they find this person i hope they use every stalker law on the books to put them away no matter who it turns out to be.
I hope the hotel cooperates to the fullest, security tapes, access to the adjoining rooms and staff and guest lists. Then I hope they identify and put the slimeball behind the camera to shame and bankrupt him/her/them. Erin Andrews was not in need of this type of notoriety for ratings. Neither is her changing clothes, readying for a shower or sleeping and walking around naked her "fault". According to what was most recently reported it seems there is a drill hole in an adjacent room. The punitive aspect of this is huge. Getting her job done requires overnight accomodations, it could be a long time before Andrews is comfortable in any setting other than her own home, if that.

I've been to Houston a few times but never went to Texas for fun. She's playing Michigan Womyns on the 8th of Aug and I WOULD LOVE TO GO. Can't. Anyway Austins as close as I can get to this artist, this tour. I'm looking forward to seeing the town. It wont be a long trip, at all. I never hear a bad thing about Austin. And people do so love to talk about the negative. Anyway, I've also now planned a drive up to Georgia (though I may still fly, 16 hrs of driving in 2 days is alot) mid August for a different artist who I was NOT at all expecting to crop up. im still waiting for the other shoe to drop here. apparently there were at least two different hotel rooms where these videos were shot so the thinking is that its someone she knows or works with. obviously they didnt do it for the money because they prolly could have sold it to some smut mag or gossip website but they didnt which leads to a big hmmm. and since it happened on more than one occasion we know that its not someone who saw her in the hallway by chance and took a peep, and we know its not a hotel employee since more than one hotel was involved. its someone who knew which hotels and rooms shed be staying in, knew her schedule and managed to get an adjoining room on more than one occasion since the angles of the videos apparently are greater than what might be viewed thru the door peephole and theres no telescoping effect. one would think that a look at who had the room next door might lead to a big clue. usually you have to show id to get a hotel room.

I am not sure how I feel about the fake body parts statement below. I know many people who have had surgery of one sort or another, from chin implants, breast implants, nose jobs, face lifts, eye lid lifts, tummy tucks, eye surgery, and lipo. From what I see, anything that boosts someone's self-esteem and makes them more confident also makes them much sexier. A woman who feels they look their best is sexy as hell, both in and out of the bedroom. I find that self-confidence very attractive.<-mt
oh i agree that self confidence is a turn on and, really, i dont have anything against women doing these things. people are free to do what they wish as long as they are not hurting anyone as far as im concerned. but this is just not something i find attractive. i like those eye crinkles and laugh lines and i prefer women with soft curves and soft breasts and faces that express what goes on inside rather than that frozen startled look that i see so often. and while i do love a confident woman, i think the kind of self confidence that appeals to me is the kind that comes from being comfortable in ones own skin. i do recognize that there are some people who find the other attractive i just aint one of them. and dont get me started on makeup:)
Interesting topic! I don't really have any celebrities or famous women I would like to see naked. I find many celebrities attractive simply because of their faces. But I would much rather see the naked body of the woman I love, whom I can kiss and hold and make love to. Although, I do enjoy looking at art work involving the female form, but from an artistic perspective. I can't say that it arouses me in anyway. It's simply appreciation for the beautiful picture, photograph or sculpture.

im watching this story on tv about a sportscaster who was filmed thru a peephole in her hotel room and the vid was placed on the net. some are now saying it was an inside job to get attention for her dying career tho who knows? id like to think that nobody is that desperate to stay in the headlines.

There is no shortage of gorgeous women out there in the world. I'm sure that they are all fantastic to look at nude. I'm just not the voyueristic type. Unless that woman is standing naked in front of me, for me, it's merely just a beautiful body. It's a body to be admired, but I can't say that any one is better or worse than another. Not to mention, I don't know the names of the majority of the young, beautiful specimens in the media today.
