I'm not much of an air traveler these days. Haven't been on a plane since 2006, but I am planning a trip this fall that is too far to drive.
yanno its become such a hassle to fly anywhere that ive begun to dread it. you have to get to the airport 2 hours before get strip searched either with or without the new peek a boo scanner sit on ruinways for hours on end. i used to fly if i was going to go somewhere farther than a 3 hour drive. these days its more like 7 or 8. and even then i think about not going more than i think about going. flying used to be fun
That's the exact reason why I don't fly much any more. If I can drive it in under one day, I'll drive. I avoid conferences on the left coast because I detest flying anymore. I used to love, too.

Okay, now I have to go look up the headline and find out what happened. Surely, they were someone's pets and were harmless.
i dont think they are poisonous? but they might scare one to death lol.
When I read this headline, I immediately got a mental image of John Cleese, Eric Idle, Michael Palin (no relation) and Graham Chapman running up and down the aisle in coach making funny noises at 3K ft., and wanted to be there.
LOL! I can actually picture that.
My first thought was that movie a few years back called Snakes on a Plane or something like that. Thousands of snakes were all over the plane. I couldn't handle that. But, like Psych said, spiders would be worse.
