This has been the oddest night. I went to town to pick something up and about a mile down the road there was a snowstorm. it apparently was a narrow snowstorm but it dumped about a foot of snow apparently in about 2 hours. the rest of the area had a few inches over the last 24 hours. It was clear when i left the house and i cant describe the oddness of driving down the road into what was for all intents and purposes a blizzard. very very weird.
So then i got home and was changing out of my wet clothes and put the tv on to see what was on and as usual nothing so i flipped to one of the community access channels and holy crap. another weird thing. owl you are probably familiar with this guy but im telling you i was mesmerized by what i was hearing. I was thinking either this guy has the best integrated web of delusions ive heard or mebbe he knows something. not someone id want for a neighbor, and im sure as hell that he wouldnt have wanted me for a neighbor, but apparently he was once someone to be reckoned with, that is before he was apparently lured from him home and shot by a police officer in arizona. or maybe that isnt the truth. maybe the official record is the truth, that he was shot while resisting warrants being served on him for gun possession. in any event he describes himself in the video record as being a dangerous man and id certainly agree with that assessment tho probably for different reasons. heres the interesting thing. much of what he said was probably true but it seemed to me that he mixed this truth into some delusional system to create what is prolly the best conspiracy theory going. The guys name was william cooper and apparently he once had a newspaper called veritas and was a published author and according to him former cia. heres the interesting part. apparently in june of 01 he predicted that there would be a terrorist attack on the us in the coming weeks and said that it would be blamed on terrorists but that it was an inside job. then comes 911 and he goes on the road talking the i told you so stuff up and 6 weeks later the police come to his door to serve those warrants and hes dead. it does make the left eyebrow raise a bit. owl, you probably are familiar with him since he was a resident of az. whats your take on the guy aside from being a hater that is:)
