zat you in the black dress in number 5 vying for a foot shot?
No, but shameless as it sounds...she's the reason god or whomever invented spycams and trenchcoats. Good gawd she was a nice looking woman. Such a bright light amongst so many hate-mongers... She was clearly as uncomfortable as I was around all that gop. Though I think she did "whoop" a little when "spread the wealth" was booed.
she certainly has a nice turn of the hip and great elbows! lol. i woulda taken her pix too:)
"Country First?" Is that their motto? Not God? I thought the mantra was God, Country, family. (?)
i think the motto changes in accordance with the speech. todays said something about energy.
I have to ask ... why was her little girl there? Did she speak?
it has to be hard on her being dragged from place to place and missing school. i am sure the RNC has hired tutors for all of these kids but usually thats not a full school day, theres the missed interaction with peers. but on the positive side of things, shes near her mom and dad and a party to the history making aspects of her mothers campaign.
". As I said: just my personal preference, and I'm not the mother of these children. Clearly this family believes they're doing the right thing, and I've no authority to dispute that ... it just makes me, as an uninvolved observer, kinda sad, I guess. Maybe if there was at least one wall behind her that wasn't transparent? :)
my concern is for the baby. kids with downs syndrom usually have problems staying asleep and ive yet to see that baby awake. i am hoping that he is a "naturally" sleep kid.
and speaking of babies, the new york times placed the dates of palins marriage and birth of her first child in the news the other day without comment on the shortened distance between the two. i am still wondering how it is that no one of the news vultures has retrieved the birth cert to see if the kid was a 12 lb "preemie" if it had been hillary, it woulda made front page news.
"Country First?" Is that their motto? Not God? I thought the mantra was God, Country, family. (?) I have to ask ... why was her little girl there? Did she speak? I heard an interview with Tina Fey last night, and she was talking about the SNL where both she and Palin were at rehearsal -- Fey's babysitter had copped out, so she'd brought her 3 year old to the set with her until another could be found, which did happen, and the 3 year old was taken back home. Fey said Palin asked where the little girl was, and said Bristol would have been happy to babysit her, and Fey's thought was: Yeah, a girl on her 17th birthday on the SNL set wants to babysit the daughter of the woman who's "goofing on her Mom." She said the Palin family was a very nice family; was quite complimentary about them as a family. I guess it's a choice to have the whole brood with you on the campaign trail, but ... on stage all the time, too? Maybe it's something empowering for this little girl, and something she'll remember the rest of her life, seeing her mom up there, talking to all those people. Personally? I sorta wish that family would be more ... limiting in the number of times they trot the kids out on stage, but that's just me, I guess. I look at this little girl in this photo, and wonder if maybe she wouldn't be happier, and better off, off stage somewhere, with a TV feed into the room, playing jacks, or something, more often and in front of the cameras a little less. As I said: just my personal preference, and I'm not the mother of these children. Clearly this family believes they're doing the right thing, and I've no authority to dispute that ... it just makes me, as an uninvolved observer, kinda sad, I guess. LOL! I'll bet the "Buy American" republicans liked THIS! LOL.
Especially with a functional Budweiser brewery 10 minutes away. At least they were American until recently. So, there's a beer from Holland supporting a FLORIDA ICE HOCKEY team of Canadians who play in an arena named for a newspaper that isn't even in their city? Yeah, there's alot of things wrong with this picture. Lends new meaning to "six pack" Jo, huh?
Naw, not really. It's always informative to see what the other camp is up to. Besides ... you have your fiesty avatar back out, and I don't want to stoke any ire, or anything

Always nice to see the Secret Security/prepared snipers at the ready whenever politicians appear, hey? Reminds me of my salad days, only then, they usually had cameras. Maybe that's the difference between the SS and the FBI.
